This class will focus on climbing technique and strength while bouldering and top rope climbing. Students will improve their climbing skills and knowledge by climbing at Spire, with training videos, and visiting local climbing boulders.

​

Students will meet at Spire at 1:50 and stay until the end of the class at 3:45. This class will take place during the last period of the day and continue for one hour outside of the school day. Transportation can be provided by Mrs. Hay, a parent, or students may drive to Spire, just under a mile away from EMERGE.

 

Students must be 14 years of age to participate and parents will need to sign the Spire waiver. Climbing gear and belay instruction will be provided by Spire staff.

• $250 covers the cost of climbing at Spire, payable with tuition
