Students will learn the use of black and white photography, indoor natural light, more advanced portraiture, more advanced Lightroom skills, and some unique techniques, such as night sky photography. Through lectures, videos, hands-on exercises, and in-class critique, students are challenged to take technically good photos and learn the thought process in creating great images.

 

REQUIRED MATERIALS

• Digital SLR Camera with Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO control with batteries, instruction manual and digital card appropriate for the camera.

• Adobe Lightroom loaded on to a computer with at least 16 gb of RAM

• Pen and Notebook

• Two 16gb Thumb Drives
