Mrs. Heidi Fry

The ocean covers more than 70% of the Earth’s surface and is home to hundreds of thousands of living things. Even though we live in a land-locked state, every life, yours included, is impacted by the chemical and physical properties of the ocean. Throughout the spring semester, we will dive into the ocean and all its splendor. Come along as we find out about ocean literacy, its biodiversity, how humans impact it, how its ecosystems flourish, and what discoveries have and are yet to be made. Along the way, we will even have our own “Shark Week,” explore a sunken ship and learn to identify some of the creatures you may see on your next snorkeling trip.
