Forms of Government
Mr. Shawn Gray
Do you ever wonder why Russia or China are spoken of as threats to our country? Why have we chosen to be allies with countries that do not share our human rights values? Why are political viewpoints in our own country so passionately divided? Do you desire to preserve your freedom of religion or your right to bear arms? Do you desire to conquer illiteracy or to cure poverty?
All of these ideals are very dependent upon our form of government. Should we preserve what we have because it is working well; or should we change it because we would like it to work better? You will be able to answer these questions and more as you participate in class discussions, watch videos, and even participate in some role playing along the way!
