Defending Your Faith

Defending Your Faith is a class that will help students to do just that, defend their faith. The class will start by defining what faith is and why/how our lives should be led by faith. Next, we will dive into tough questions people ask about Christianity, such as: Why does God allow suffering in the world? How could a loving God send people to Hell? How can there be one true religion? We will address these questions with biblical evidence and logical thinking. Students will learn how to defend their faith in a respectful and gracious manner, as lights in the darkness. This class will address modern cultural and scientific opposition to Christianity with evidence for Christianity. We will also learn how to share our faith. We will learn different methods and go out onto the MSU campus to practice what we’ve learned. This course is designed for students to understand what they believe so that they are able to share the gift of salvation with others.

Bible (I will be teaching out of the English Standard Version, but any version is acceptable). Please do not spend money on a bible. If you do not have access to one, there are free apps or I will give you one.
