Mr. David Frey
In the Montana setting swing dancing is a very popular social activity or pastime. By participating in swing dancing sessions, one better improves in coordination, physical form, endurance, and social interaction/confidence. This class focuses these elements in order that students feel comfortable and well-rounded in situations where swing is present. Throughout the semester we will be sure to cover the basics of what might be typically seen at a venue where country swing is present.
This includes but is not limited to:
Typical swing dancing form
Various swing dancing moves
Commonly seen line dances
Alternative forms for different paced songs
Closed toed shoes, appropriate fitness wear (dresses, tank tops, extremely loose fitting
clothes, highly constricting clothes, excessive jewelry are not recommended).
