World History: Civilization to Reformation

This course offers students a yearlong exploration of world history from the emergence of early civilizations to the transformative period of the Reformation. Through a chronological and thematic approach, students will delve into the key events, movements, and developments that have shaped human societies across regions and time periods. Students will study about western and non-western civilizations throughout the year.  Class time will consist of lectures and hands-on activities. At-home work will include reading, interactive assignments, and analysis of primary sources. Students will also be assigned 1-2 projects each semester.
