According to babble.com, “If you want a language that will open up whole continents to you, Spanish is your best bet.” It is the second most spoken language in the world, edging out English, with about 400 million native speakers. Jump into the Spanish world in Spanish I! This beginner-level high-school course will focus on pronunciation, verb conjugation, everyday phrases and vocabulary, along with some Spanish culture and basic grammar structure. Emphasis will be placed on speaking and listening/understanding, as well as some reading and writing. It’ll be a lot of fun and students will leave being able to hold a conversation in Spanish!
