This class is a basic introduction to computer science. Topics covered include hardware and software, networking, security, online communication skills, and how to use office applications. We will use Google Workspace and learn how to use the applications: Docs, Sheets, and Slides. We will use those applications to create a business letter, a budget, a calendar, a presentation, and more. Technology gives us amazing tools at our fingertips- but only if we know how to use them.

 

REQUIRED MATERIALS:​

• A Computer that can be brought to school

• A Google account

COURSE MATERIALS FEE:

• $15 payable with tuition (This includes the book Basic Computer Science by Dr. Martin which will be handed out in class.)
