Artistic Floral Design
Mrs. Bobbi Robinson
In this class, we will use fresh, dried paper, and even wood flowers to learn to create unique art. We will learn different methods to preserve fresh flowers, including using a flower press to press flowers and silica gel to dry flowers to keep their original characteristics. There will be a unit to learn how to use epoxy to create one-of-a-kind, timeless art pieces. We will hand-paint sola wood flowers to use in an arrangement. Additionally, we will learn how to incorporate flowers in the kitchen, using flowers not just for decorations, but with food.
