Sewing

We are going to work through sewing a series of bags in this class. We will learn how to use our machines, how to cut fabric, sew straps and zippers. We will learn how to use patterns and try our hand at sewing different types of fabric/materials. Students will leave class with a handful of practical, beautiful, amazing bags from small zipper bags, drawstring bags to a duffel or backpack. Boys: This class is not just for the ladies!

REQUIRED MATERIALS

• For this class you will need your own sewing machine that you will bring in to class every week. There are a million sewing gadgets that you could get for this class but we'll start with: Neutral colored thread, sharp scissors, seam ripper, pins.
