5th Grade Required Books & Materials

REQUIRED SUPPLIES:

• Pencil Box

• 1 pkg of Crayola colored pencils

• 1 pkg #2 pencils

• 2 colored pens (any color for correcting) 

• Pencil Erasers

• Standard-sized index cards

• Pocket folder

• 1 Spiral Notebook (Pages will not be torn out of this notebook.)

• 1 Composition book 

• Water Bottle

• Laptop computer or tablet with keyboard attachment if it is compatible with Teaching Textbooks (Chromebooks are a cost-effective option). Students use a laptop or tablet for math and keyboarding. 

• Headphones for computer

• Access to a printer (to print occasional worksheets for Spanish, music, and other coursework)

• Tennis shoes for PE

• Winter clothes necessary for outdoor play (we are outside year-round)

REQUIRED CURRICULUM:

EMERGE School will order the Language Arts, Math, Science, Spelling, Writing, and Spanish materials in bulk, saving shipping expenses. Families will be billed for the price of the curriculum. Do not purchase curriculum.
