Graphic Design I
Everywhere you look today you can find digital graphics whether it is a logo, a t-shirt, a board game, or a piece of junk mail! We will use Inkscape, a free program, to create original designs. Inkscape performs much the same way Adobe Illustrator does. Students will learn how to create different kinds digital artwork that we see and use in our everyday lives. We will begin this class by learning basic commands, drawing shapes, lines, and manipulating fonts. We will move on to more intricate designs and art and finish off with designing our own tee shirts. This class will require a laptop. A laptop is preferred over a chrome book. A mouse is recommended.
