Miss Kalli Hendickson
Today’s world is saturated with logos, advertisements, and branding: it's the universal language of the world. It is the skill most businesses and non-profits need in order to thrive. Even on the mission field, graphic design is important. Graphic artists must be able to craft images that capture an audience and clearly communicate a message.
In this class, students will learn the elements and principles of graphic design, color theory, and how they come together successfully. We will work mainly with Photoshop as that is what professional graphic designers use, as well as a few online stock photo sites, and editing software programs. The goal of this class is to give a strong understanding of graphic design projects, software, and the history behind what created the brands of today.
